The San Antonio Spurs travel to the American Airlines Center to battle the Dallas Mavericks tonight.
The San Antonio Spurs have been playing their best basketball of the season and will be looking to build on a three-game win streak after crushing the Hawks by 114-95 on Sunday. Tiago Splitter led the way with 23 points on 10 of 14 points, Boris Diaw had 17 points off the bench and Danny Green added 15 points as the Spurs stormed out of the gates to a 59-41 lead at halftime before cruising in the second half. As a team, the Spurs have averaged 112.5 points while going 10-2 in their last 12 games and look to be heating up at the right time of the season.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have won four of their last seven but will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling to the Suns by 98-92 on Sunday. Chandler Parsons had a strong game of 19 points while Amar'e Stoudemire added 16 points in just 17 minutes off the bench, but the rest of the team struggled, especially Monta Ellis who shot a miserable four of 22 from the field for his 11 points. As a team, the Mavs did a great job of fighting their way back from a 57-42 first half deficit, but poor shooting cost them the win as the Mavs shot just 38.5 percent from the field compared to the Suns' 51.3 percent.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Spurs are 2-7 ATS in their last nine meetings but the road team is 11-5 ATS in the last 16 meetings.
This is a big game for both teams, but there's just no way I can go past the Spurs given how hot they've been lately. Take San Antonio to win and cover.
