The Orlando Magic welcome the Atlanta Hawks to the Amway Center on NBA Wednesday.
The Orlando Magic have lost seven of their last eight games and were unable to follow up an upset win over the Trailblazers, falling to the Nuggets by 119-100 on Sunday. Victor Oladipo scored a team-high 21 points while Nikola Vucevic added 20 points but the game fell away from the Magic in the second and third quarters where the Nuggets outscored them by 74-47. Elfrid Payton disappointed after racking up consecutive triple-doubles, scoring just six points, eight rebounds and eight assists which really hurt the Magic who were already without Channing Frye and Tobias Harris. With the loss, Orlando fell to 22-50 on the season and 12-23 at home.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been the benchmark for the Eastern Conference all season, but are suddenly struggling through a tough stretch in their schedule, losing three straight including a 114-95 rout against the Spurs on Sunday. Paul Millsap had a nice game of 22 points while Dennis Schroder added 18 points in eight of 13 shooting off the bench, but the Hawks's defense once again failed them as the Spurs shot a sizzling 56.1 percent from the field. There really hasn't been a lot to like about the way the Hawks have been playing lately but luckily for them, they're still 53-17 on the season which leaves them eight games clear of the second-placed Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference standings.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a double digit loss at home and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Magic are 21-10 ATS in their last 31 games against a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a double digit loss at home.
Head to head, the Hawks are 0-6 ATS in the last six meetings overall and the under is 36-15 in the last 51 meetings.
The Hawks have been playing well below their best lately, but they've been 22-12 ATS on the road all season so it's too hard to resist them against the Magic in this one.
