The Washington Wizards pay a visit to the Indiana Pacers on NBA Wednesday.
The Washington Wizards will be looking to bounce back from a third straight loss after getting thumped by the Warriors by 107-76 on Monday. John Wall struggled mightily and finished with just 11 points on four of 16 shooting while Bradley Beal added 12 points, but this game fell to pieces once the Warriors turned up the heat in a dominant 29-8 third quarter. As a team, the Wizards shot just 33.3 percent from the field for the game and finished with their lowest point total of the season to drop to 40-31 overall, leaving them 2 1/2 games behind Chicago who currently occupy the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been going through some struggles of their own as they've lost six straight including a 110-100 defeat at home to the Rockets. In Monday's loss, CJ Watson led the team with 23 points off the bench, George Hill added 20 points while Roy Hibbert added 18 points but this game was all about the Rockets' James Harden who dominated the game with 44 points by getting to the free throw line where he made 21 of 22 attempts. The Pacers are ranked fourth in the league in points allowed, but this was just a case of Harden getting too hot to handle. With the loss, Indiana falls to 30-40 on the season which leaves them one game out of the playoff picture behind Charlotte and Boston.
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Wizards are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 games overall and 0-5 ATS in their last five game following a loss of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the Pacers are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Washington but the road team is 8-0 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.
Both of these teams have been playing some of their worst basketball of the season so it's good that at least one of these teams will leave this game with a much needed win. It's hard to pick either team in this one, but I'm sure the Wizards will bounce back from their embarrassing loss on Monday with a nice win at home where they've won their last five.
