The Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz meet Saturday night at the EnergySolutions Arena.
The Oklahoma City Thunder look to stay hot after winning six of their last eight games. On the season, the Thunder are averaging 103.4 points on 44.7 percent shooting and are allowing 101 points on 43.4 percent shooting. Russell Westbrook is averaging 27.3 points and 8.7 assists while Enes Kanter is averaging 17.6 points and 10.8 rebounds. Dion Waiters is shooting 39 percent from the field and Anthony Morrow is grabbing 2.4 rebounds. The Oklahoma City Thunder found out yesterday that Kevin Durant will have another operation and miss the rest of the season. OKC is shooting 47.7 percent in its last five games but much of the work will continue to fall on Westbrook’s shoulders. Andre Roberson is questionable with an ankle injury.
USA TODAY Sports
The Utah Jazz look to snap a four-game losing streak. On the season, the Jazz are averaging 94.7 points on 44.8 percent shooting and are allowing 95 points on 44.6 percent shooting. Derrick Favors is averaging 16.6 points and 8.3 rebounds while Trey Burke is averaging 12.8 points and 4.4 assists. Rudy Gobert is grabbing nine rebounds and Trevor Booker is shooting 48.8 percent from the field. The Utah Jazz are coming off a Friday loss to the Denver Nuggets in which they shot just 39.5 percent from the field. The Jazz have cooled off a bit after starting the month on fire. However, four of the Jazz’s last five victories have come on their home court. Rodney Hood is questionable with a stomach issue.
The Thunder are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 vs. Western Conference and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Jazz are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 0 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Thunder are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in Utah.
The Thunder are looking to lockup a playoff spot and should be able to get the job done against a Jazz team that's back in another slump. I like OKC and the small chalk, especially with the rest and Utah playing last night.
