The Detroit Pistons pay a visit to the Miami Heat at the American Airlines Arena on Sunday.
Despite having nothing to play for, the Detroit Pistons have really been playing some solid ball lately, winning five of their last six including their last four straight. In Friday's 111-97 win over the Magic, Reggie Jackson led the way with a triple-double of 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists while Tayshaun Prince added 23 points off the bench as the Pistons took over the third quarter to keep their win streak alive. With the win, Detroit improves to 28-44 overall and 13-23 on the road where they've won their last two.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have lost three of their last four and looked particularly lifeless in their last outing, a 99-86 loss at Atlanta on Friday. Luol Deng had 17 points and 10 rebounds but the rest of the team struggled mightily as the Hawks clamped down on defense and forced turnover after turnover. As a team, the Heat shot just 39 percent from the field and it was only their 11 made three-pointers that kept the final score respectable in the end. With the loss, Miami drops to 33-39 on the season which leaves them just one game clear of the eighth-placed Boston in the Eastern standings.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more than 10 points, while hte Heat are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 19-7-2 ATS in their last 28 games following a loss.
Head to head, the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the under is 17-6-1 in the last 24 meetings in Miami.
I'm tempted to take the Heat to cover at home, but I'm actually thinking that the Pistons will pull off the minor upset tonight because they've really been playing some of their best basketball lately.
