The Toronto Raptors invade Barclays Center to take on the surging Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
The Toronto Raptors will be looking to build on their current three-game win streak tonight when they take on the Nets. On Wednesday, the Raptors started the game with plenty of energy and took care of business early on, jumping out to a lead of 14 points at halftime and pushing till the end. Louis Williams led the team in scoring with 18 points, DeMar DeRozan added 17 points and Terrence Ross had 16 as the Raptors won despite playing without their top player in Kyle Lowry who sat out his fourth straight game with his back issue. With the win, Toronto improved to 45-30 overall to stay in third place in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets looked dead and buried just a few weeks ago, but they've suddenly found a rich vein of form and are coming into this game off their fifth straight victory. It definitely wasn't the prettiest of wins, but the Nets did just enough to get past the league-worst Knicks, beating them by 100-98 thanks to a late putback layup from Brook Lopez who finished the game with 18 points while Deron Williams led the way with 26 points. The Nets will be feeling very relieved after they allowed the Knicks to run down their 16-point lead in the second half, but the bottom line is that they got the job done and improved to 34-40 overall, leaving them in the eighth and final spot in the current Eastern standings.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a win, while the Nets are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 2-5-2 ATS in their last nine home games.
Head to head, the Raptors are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings and the over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Brooklyn.
The Nets have been one of the form teams in the league lately and they've been especially good at home, so I'm definitely leaning towards them to keep their momentum going in what is a pretty important match.
