The New York Knicks and Washington Wizards meet Friday night at the Verizon Center.
The New York Knicks look to snap an eight-game losing streak. On the season, the Knicks are averaging 91.8 points on 42.8 percent shooting and are allowing 101.4 points on 46.1 percent shooting. Andrea Bargnani is averaging 14.9 points and 4.3 rebounds while Langston Galloway is averaging 11.4 points and 3.2 assists. Jason Smith is grabbing 3.8 rebounds and Shane Larkin is dishing 2.9 assists. The New York Knicks are shooting just 41 percent from the field in their last five games and have lost 23 straight when scoring less than 100 points. The Knicks have just won two road games since February. Tim Hardaway Jr. is doubtful with a wrist injury.

The Washington Wizards look for a win after splitting their last four games. On the season, the Wizards are averaging 98.4 points on 46.3 percent shooting and are allowing 97.8 points on 43.5 percent shooting. John Wall is averaging 17.6 points and 9.9 assists while Bradley Beal is averaging 14.8 points and 3.8 rebounds. Paul Pierce is dishing 1.9 assists and Marcin Gortat is grabbing 8.7 rebounds. The Washington Wizards are shooting 42.1 percent from the field in their last five games, and they’ve lost five of their last seven when scoring less than 100 points. The Wizards are lucky they’ve already clinched a playoff spot, as they’re playing lousy ball as of late.
The Knicks are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Wizards are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 vs. Eastern Conference and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 vs. NBA Atlantic. The Knicks are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings.
The best bet here would be to leave this game alone. But for the sake of the article, the Wizards haven't done anything to earn so much chalk. If forced to pick, I'll take the Knicks and the points, as Washington has been a real disapointment for the last month or so.
