The Utah Jazz travel to the US Airways Center to take on the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.
The Utah Jazz will be looking to extend their current three-game win streak to four games tonight after taking down the Nuggets by 98-84 on Wednesday. Rudy Gobert led the way with 20 points, Derrick Favors added 19 points while Dante Exum scored two points with 12 assists as the Jazz dominated the second and third quarters by a combined 59-30 which really put the game to bed before the fourth quarter. Defensively, the Jazz have held their last three opponents to an average of 85.6 points and a lot of the credit has to go to Gobert who hardly played at all last season, but has really blossomed into a disruptive presence in the paint.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have lost their last five straight but showed plenty of fight in a 107-106 loss at Golden State on Friday. Eric Bledsoe led the way with 18 points and 11 assists while Markieff Morris and TJ Warren added 17 points each as the Suns battled from a double digit deficit at halftime to push the Warriors right to the edge. Unfortunately, a couple of missed rebounds and missed defensive assignments cost them the game as both Stephen Curry and Harrison Barnes came up with the big plays to rescue the Warriors right at the end. With the loss, Phoenix fell to 38-38 on the season and 17-20 at home.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 17-8-2 ATS in their last 27 road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing on two days rest, while the Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Jazz are 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 14-6-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings in Phoenix.
The Suns will be pretty disappointed with their heartbreaking loss in their last outing so they'll be looking to bounce back with a win at home tonight, but I actually prefer the Jazz who have been in much better form.
