The Miami Heat need a win after losing their last four games. On the season, the Heat are averaging 94.4 points on 45.6 percent shooting and are allowing 97.2 points on 45.6 percent shooting. Dwyane Wade is averaging 21.6 points and 4.8 assists while Goran Dragic is averaging 16.1 points and 5.5 assists. Mario Chalmers is dishing 3.9 assists and Henry Walker is grabbing 3.5 rebounds. The Miami Heat are allowing 48.1 percent shooting in their last five games and have lost five of their last eight when allowing 100-plus points. The Heat pretty much have to win out in order for them to clinch a playoff spot. Birdman, Luol Deng, Hassan Whiteside and Michael Beasley are questionable with injuries.
The Hornets are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. NBA Southeast and 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win. The Heat are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference. The Hornets are 4-12-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings.
This is pretty much an elimination game as far as the playoffs are concerned. With so much on the line, I'm going to side with the home team. However, I'm scared to death of Miami's injuries.
