There are a whopping 12 games happening in the NBA tonight, and with the playoff race heating up to extreme temperatures, that’s just what us basketball fans want to hear. That said, let’s check out some of the notable players and stats out there in the news today.
Bulls-Heat: The Heat were up in this one by 19 points at halftime, so you’d think it would be an easy victory for them. Not so much.
The Bulls pulled off a huge comeback in Miami last night, coming back to win 89-78. The loss deals a crippling blow to the Heat’s playoff chances.
Pau Gasol led the way with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Aaron Brooks and Taj Gibson each logged 14 points.

Warriors-Blazers: Stephen Curry broke the record for 3-pointers in a season held by--Stephen Curry--in a dazzling scoring display last night as the Warriors beat the Blazers 116-105.
Curry put up 45 points in the win, nailing eight 3-pointers overall--six by halftime alone. This points barrage helped bring the Warriors back from 13 points down at one point.
Curry was 17-of-23 overall and 8-of-13 from 3-point range. He would add 10 assists to that total.
