The Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers collide for Game 2 at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday.
Another season, another playoff appearance for LeBron James, but while he scored 20 points, six rebounds and seven assists all eyes were actually on his supporting cast of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love who experienced their first playoff game ever. Irving looked right at home from the tipoff, making five threes en route to 30 points while Kevin Love shook off a slow start to finish with a double-double of 19 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Cavs did a great job of attacking the boards and getting to the free throw line which is a great sign for the Cavs going forward.

Meanwhile, the Celtics were very reliant on Isaiah Thomas for their offense and he had himself a nice game of 22 points and 10 assists off the bench, but he received very little in terms of scoring support. Kelly Olynyk and Evan Turner chipped in with 12 points each, but Avery Bradley had just seven points while Brandon Bass had just 10 points which really hurt the Celtics, especially in the second and third quarters where they got outscored by a combined 64-45 points.
In ATS trends, the Cavs are 2-5 ATS in hteir last seven games overall and 15-7 ATS in their last 22 home games, while the Celtics are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Celtics are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings in Cleveland and the home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
After what I saw from the Cavs in Game 1, there's little to suggest that Game 2 will be anything but a carbon copy. The young Celtics will be better for their experience in Game 1, but then again, so will the Cavs.
