The Memphis Grizzlies will be looking for a 2-0 series lead against the Portland Trailblazers tonight.
The Memphis Grizzlies simply dominated Game 1 on Sunday thanks to some seriously good defense and some scoring from an unfamiliar source. Defensively, the Grizzlies set the tone right from the tipoff and held the Trailblazers to just 15 points in the first quarter and 33.7 percent shooting for the game, but on a team full of star players, it was actually Beno Udrih who stole the spotlight with 20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in just 24 minutes off the bench. Overall, it was nearly a perfect game from the Grizzlies who led by as many as 29 points in the third quarter before taking their foot off the gas late in the game.

As for the Portland Trailblazers, LaMarcus Aldridge led the scoring with 32 points but shot just 13 of 24 while and Damian Lillard was even less efficient, scoring 14 points on five of 21 shooting. Nicolas Batum added 15 points, but he'll need to score closer to 30 for the Blazers to have a chance against the Grizzlies because they're already without Wesley Matthews and Arron Afflalo is listed as questionable for Game 2. The Blazers really need to go back to the drawing board because Game 1 was ugly right from tipoff.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 Conference Quarterfinals games and 0-5 ATS in their last five road games, while the Grizzlies are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Blazers are 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Memphis.
This was always going to be a tough series for the Blazers and unless Afflalo returns to the court and has a big game, I can't see anything but another easy win for the Grizzlies in Game 2.
