NBA Player Updates 4/23: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More

We’ve got another three games to look forward to in the NBA Playoffs tonight, so it’s time to sit back and get settled in. while we’re waiting, let’s check out some of the notable stats and players in the headlines today.
Nets-Hawks: The banged-up Hawks took a decisive 2-0 series lead last night on the Nets, coming out on top 96-91 in Atlanta.
Paul Millsap came up big with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting, while Al Horford put up 14 points of his own with 13 rebounds and seven assists. Both players have been battling injury issues lately, which was a concern for the Hawks coming into this series.
Atlanta shot just 39 percent from the field.

Grizzlies-Trail Blazers: Also taking a 2-0 series lead in last night’s game were the Grizzlies, who used their outside shots to post a 97-82 win over the Blazers last night in Memphis.
Mike Conley and Courtney Lee each logged 18 points here, while Marc Gasol managed 15 of his own.
Leading the charge for Portland was LaMarcus Aldridge, who posted 24 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and four blocks.
Spurs-Clippers: The other series out West is currently tied 1-1 after a Spurs victory last night. Tim Duncan posted 28 points and logged some key minutes down the stretch in what would be a big 111-107 Spurs win in Los Angeles.
Duncan had gone just 1-of-5 in the fourth quarter and made a few defensive mistakes during that span as well. He’d recover in overtime, scoring four straight to help the team get back even in the series.
