Strengths: Justise Winslow is a terrific athlete who can create his own shot and is great at driving to the cup. Winslow is dangerous in the open court and has a solid wingspan that allows him to be an above-average rebounder for his position. Winslow does a great job of getting to the basket and finishing with a soft touch. Winslow has NBA range from three and is deadly when his feet are set. Winslow is a good on-ball defender and has quick feet. Winslow averaged less than two turnovers per game. Justise Winslow has a high basketball IQ and comes with zero off-the-court issues. Winslow became more of a leader later in the season.
Weaknesses: Justise Winslow can sometimes disappear in games and you wonder if he knows how truly good he can be. Winslow has an inconsistent motor. Winslow is a bit of a tweener and will need to put on some upper-body strength. Winslow also needs to improve his mid-range game. Winslow shot just 64.1 percent from the free throw line.
Projection: Justise Winslow has the potential to be a great two-way player at the next level and an offensive machine. Winslow can create his own shot and finish through contact at the basket. Winslow won’t fall out of the Top 10, and he’ll be somebody who could contribute from day one. I see Winslow as an All-Star caliber player within a couple of seasons.
