April 26, 2015
We’ve got another busy afternoon/evening of NBA Playoffs basketball to look forward to today, with four more games on the schedule. While we’re waiting on game time, let’s check out some of the notable players out there in the league.
Nets-Hawks: Getting rid of the Nets isn’t going to be as easy as Atlanta thought. After a 31-14 first quarter, Brooklyn went on to a 91-83 victory, steamrolling the No. 1 seed in the East.
This was the Nets’ seventh game against the Hawks this year; they’d lost the previous six.
Brook Lopez (22 points; 13 rebounds) and Thaddeus Young (18 points; 11 rebounds) led the way with double-doubles.

Bulls-Bucks: In another turn of events in the East, the Bucks edged out the Bulls yesterday on Jerryd Bayless’ buzzer-beating layup by a score of 92-90. The win cuts Chicago’s lead in the series to 3-1, but it’s still do-or-die for Milwaukee.
Game 5 is tomorrow in Chicago.
Warriors-Pelicans: One team that doesn’t have to worry about losing a lead in their series is the Warriors, who completed their first-round sweep over the Pelicans last night with a 109-98 win in New Orleans.
Stephen Curry scored 39 points in another solid game for him; he averaged 33.8 points during this series. Klay Thompson added 25 more.
The Warriors will now wait to see the winner of the Trail-Blazers-Grizzlies series.
Trail Blazers-Grizzlies: Speaking of the Memphis-Portland series, the Grizzlies lead that one 3-0, thanks to a 115-109 win last night. Marc Gasol logged 25 points and sevn rebounds, with Courtney Lee logging 20.
The team was dealt a blow with the loss of Mike Conley, however. He left in the third with a facial injury.
