The Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs play game six of their playoff series Thursday night.
The Los Angeles Clippers need this game if they’re going to force a game seven Saturday. Blake Griffin is averaging 23.8 points and 13.4 rebounds while Chris Paul is averaging 22.6 points and 6.8 assists. DeAndre Jordan is grabbing 13 rebounds and J.J. Redick is dishing 1.2 assists. The Los Angeles Clippers have really blown two games in this series on their home court, putting the ultimate pressure on themselves. The Clippers bench also remains a problem, as Jamal Crawford is the only bench player averaging more than seven points. In order to extend this series, Matt Barnes, Glen Davis or even Spencer Hawes will have to show up and help the LA starters. The Clippers have won nine of their last 10 road games.

The San Antonio Spurs have a chance to end this series and get rest before playing the Rockets. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 23.4 points and seven rebounds while Tim Duncan is averaging 17.2 points and 10.8 rebounds. Boris Diaw is grabbing seven rebounds and Tony Parker is dishing 2.6 assists. The San Antonio Spurs lead this series despite missing tons of open looks and shooting an OK 44.5 percent from the field in the series. Despite banged up, Parker has combined for 31 points and seven rebounds in his last two games, giving the Spurs that extra boost. The Spurs have won 10 of their last 11 home games. In fact, the Cavs and Clippers are the only teams to beat the Spurs at home since Febuary.
The Clippers are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 road games and 4-13 ATS in their last 17 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Spurs are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games and 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The underdog is 13-4 ATS in the last 17 meetings.
I think the Clippers really screwed themselves with two losses on their home court that they probably should have won. This series very well could be over. However, for the sake of wagering, the value is on the Clippers and the points. The Spurs haven't played well in this series at all while the Clippers have kind of taken their game to another level. I'll take the points here if forced to pick.
