The Golden State Warriors look to extend their series lead to 2-0 against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
The Warriors were always going to be heavy favorites in this matchup but things got a little easier once they received news that the Grizzlies' Mike Conley wouldn't be suiting up for Game 1 of the series. Stephen Curry showed no mercy though as he poured in a game-high 22 points and seven assists while Klay Thompson added 18 points in a 101-86 victory. Draymond Green chipped in with 16 points and Harrison Barnes had 11 points as the Warriors shot 50.6 percent from the field and 13 of 28 from the three-point line. Overall, it was a strong showing from the league's best team as they started the game well and rode the excitement of the crowd to a strong finish.

As for the Grizzlies, Marc Gasol led the way with 21 points, Zach Randolph added 20 points and Tony Allen added 15 points, but no one else finished in double figures as the Grizzlies fell behind early and couldn't get anything going in a 34-point second half performance. The absence of Conley was a big loss for the Grizzlies and Nick Calathes failed to make a mark in the starting lineup, finishing the game scoreless. The Grizzlies need to find a way to really slow the game down and keep the Warriors under 100 points, because it doesn't look like they can score much more than 90 points themselves.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 5-1 ATS in their last six Conference Quarterfinals games and 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games overall, while the Warriors are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings in Golden State and the under is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
The Warriors got hot early in Game 1 and powered their way to a typical double-digit win at home and I'm expecting more of the same. I expect a better showing from the Grizzlies but a similar result for the home team.
