The Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards duke it out in Game 3 on Saturday.
The Hawks have yet to really hit their straps this postseason but they certainly looked good in their 106-90 win over the Wizards in Game 2. DeMarre Carroll once again led the team in scoring, finishing the game with 22 points on nine of 16 shooting while Paul Millsap and Al Horford chipped in with 18 points apiece. Jeff Teague scored just nine points but chipped in with seven rebounds and eight assists while Kyle Korver sunk four threes on his way to 12 points as the Hawks levelled the series at 1-1 with a strong 26-15 fourth quarter effort.

As for the Wizards, Ramon Sessions stepped into the starting point guard role in the absence of John Wall and had himself a game-high 21 points while Bradley Beal added 20 points and seven assists. Paul Pierce made five threes on his way to 15 points while Otto Porter Jr. added 15 points and five assists off the bench but the Wizards were always going to do it tough without their leading scorer in Wall who is dealing with five non-displaced fractures in his left wrist and hand which puts him in major doubt for Game 3.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 Conference Semifinals games, while the Wizards are 3-0-2 ATS in their last five home games and 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games overall.
Head to head, the Hawks are 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings overall and the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
The bookies actually opened the line with the Wizards as minor favorites at home, but I really don't like the Wizards' chances at all if Wall doesn't make his return. I just feel that the Hawks are starting to find their feet and will be too good to miss out on such an opportunity.
