Strengths: Travis Trice is a gamer who will always give you everything he has. Trice is a solid shooter with NBA range from deep. Trice sees the floor well and does a good job of setting up his teammates. Trice has a high basketball IQ. Trice is a great ball handler and rarely turns the ball over. Trice is a creative finisher at the cup and isn’t afraid of contact. Trice has great lateral quickness that helps him on the defensive end. Trice isn’t afraid of the big moments and wants the ball in his hands. Trice is extremely confident and a leader on and off the court. Trice shot 71.5 percent from the free throw line. Travis Trice is a great kid who comes with no off-the-court issues.
Weaknesses: Travis Trice is very undersized and may not get any bigger. Trice struggles on the defensive end and can get bullied by bigger players at times. Trice is a below-average rebounder for his position. Trice is already 22 years old.
Projection: Travis Trice was one of my favorite college players due to his heart and ability to lead a team. Trice also isn’t afraid of the big moments. If Trice isn’t drafted, he should still be given a shot to play in the NBA, as he brings a ton to the table from his outside shooting, ability to take care of the ball and leadership. The only real knock on Trice is his lack of size.
