The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets duke it out in Game 3 tonight at the Toyota Center.

The Warriors will be looking to take a commanding 3-0 series lead against the Rockets tonight after taking a thrilling Game 2 by 99-98. Dwight Howard looked to be slightly hobbling from the bump to the knee he suffered in Game 1 but he eventually shook it off and dominated the paint with 19 points and 17 rebounds while Terrence Jones added 12 points off the bench. However, the game eventually went down to James Harden who poured in 38 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists but simply failed in the last play of the game, turning the ball over with the clock winding down. It must have been such a painful defeat for the Rockets, but to their credit, they did a fantastic job of staying in the game despite falling behind by 17 points in the second quarter.

USA TODAY Sports

As for the Warriors, Stephen Curry poured in 15 points in the first quarter and swished his way to 33 points and six assists while Andrew Bogut bounced back from a poor Game 1 with 15 points, four assists and five blocks. Draymond Green flirted with another triple-double, racking up 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists but Klay Thompson again struggled and finished with just 14 points while making just one of seven three-point attempts. Overall, the Warriors will be feeling mighty relieved after blowing a massive lead, but they have plenty of tape to review as they could easily have lost that game.

In ATS trends, the Warriors are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games following a win and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games against a team with a winning home record, while the Rockets are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600 and 23-9 ATS in their last 32 home games.

Head to head, the Warriors are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings overall but just 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Houston.

The Warriors have done well to hold onto home-court advantage but this series has all the makings of a seven-game blockbuster, so I'm definitely expecting the Rockets to bounce back and peg one back against the Warriors tonight.
