The Warriors will get another chance to put away the Rockets in the Western Conference Finals this evening, but before we get to tip-off, let’s check out some of the notable headlines from around the league in our daily wrap-up.
Cavs-Hawks: The Cavaliers were clicking on all cylinders last night, finishing off their sweep of the Hawks and earning a trip to the NBA Finals with a Game 4 win.
James put up 23 points in a huge 118-88 blowout win over the top-seeded Hawks. Kyrie Irving also was able to return to the series after missing two games.
Cleveland will now move on to the Finals to face the winner of the Warriors-Rockets series. It’ll be James’ fifth straight visit to the NBA Finals.
He’ll have a team of role players behind him, who were good in their series-clinching win last night. JR Smith posted 18 points in a spark-plug role, while Tristan Thompson managed a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Assuming the Warriors advance to the NBA Finals (which in all likelihood they will--they’re up 3-1 on the Rockets), C/F Marreese Speights is set to return by the start of that series.
Speights is coming off a right calf sprain and has missed seven postseason games.
Speaking of the Rockets, veteran guard Jason Terry seems to think he’s got one more year of basketball in him.
Terry recently commented that he’d “100 percent” be returning for 2015-16. He’ll be a free agent this summer after averaging 7.0 PPG in the regular season.
