After the Warriors’ victory last night, we’ve got our NBA Finals matchup all set between Golden State and Cleveland (though we'll have to wait a whole week to see it). Before we start looking forward to those games, let’s check out some of the notable headlines out there right now.
Warriors-Rockets: The NBA Finals are officially set. The Warriors bagged a victory in Game 5 last night of the Western Conference Finals against the Rockets, and will be returning to the big stage after 40 years.
Stephen Curry logged 26 points and eight rebounds, while Harrison Barnes managed 24 points in the 104-90 win.
One point of worry for the Warriors, however, is the health of guard Klay Thompson. He took a knee to the side of the head and had to get stitches on his ear. He was also reportedly displaying concussion-like symptoms after the game. We’ll keep an eye on his health heading into the finals.

Moving on to the Hawks, they’ve got a couple of injury issues of note. Guard Shelvin Mack will need surgery to fix his separated shoulder, which he hurt in the late stages of Game 4 Tuesday.
Also of note, guard Kyle Korver underwent surgery on his ankle, and the procedure was successful. He suffered a high-ankle sprain in the conference finals and will need around three months to get back to 100 percent.
