The NBA Finals shifts to the Quicken Loans Arena where the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Golden State Warriors in Game 3.

The Cavaliers were dealt a cruel hand when they learned that they would be without Kyrie Irving for the remainder of the season, but what they loss in scoring punch, they gained in defensive stopping power as Matthew Dellavedova stepped into the starting lineup and shut down the Warriors' Stephen Curry. LeBron James led the team with a monster game of 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists while Timofey Mozgov added 17 points and 11 rebounds, but everyone is going to be talking about Dellavedova, the Aussie backup guard who stepped into the starting lineup in place of Irving, played great defense on the league MVP, grabbed the key offensive rebound and made the game-winning free throws.

As for the Warriors, Klay Thompson started the game red-hot and shot his way to a team-high 34 points on 14 of 28 shooting but every other Warriors player struggled badly. Stephen Curry finished with 19 points but shot a career-worst 5 of 23 from the field including just 2 of 15 from the three-point line. Even with Curry's struggles, the Warriors were right in the game from start to finish, but just fell short in the end, losing by a heartbreaking 95-93 in overtime. Obviously, Curry needs to bounce back for the Warriors to regain home-court advantage in Game 3, but they also need more from their bench who combined for just 17 points, just half of what they amassed as a unit in Game 1.

In ATS trends, the Warriors are 5-1 ATS in their last six against the Eastern Conference and 24-11 ATS in their last 35 games following a loss, while the Cavs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 14-3 ATS in their last 17 against the Western Conference.

Head to head, the Warriors are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings and the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings.

I can't remember the last time I saw Games 1 and 2 of an NBA Finals both go to overtime, but it's just added to the hype and to the pressure of what is a pivotal Game 3. I really can't back either side with too much confidence, because this game is probably going to overtime as well, but if I had to choose, I'd lean towards the Cavs to win at home at the buzzer. I actually think the stronger play is for the score to stay under because neither team has really been able to score freely at all.
