June 10, 2015
That makes three games down in the 2015 NBA Finals, with a pivotal Game 4 coming tomorrow night. While we’re waiting, there’s plenty to talk about this morning. Let’s take our daily look at the headlines and see what’s happening out there in the league.
Cavs-Warriors: Those who thought the Warriors would cruise to an easy five- or six-game victory in these Finals are now reconsidering their positions. LeBron James and company spurred another unlikely victory last night during Game 3 in Cleveland, taking a 2-1 lead in the series, however improbable that may be.
James scored 40 points with 12 rebounds and eight assists in the 96-91 win, while newly-minted Cavaliers star Matthew Dellavedova posted 20 more.
The Warriors nearly rode a furious comeback in the fourth, thanks to a scoring flurry by Stephen Curry, who finally started hitting some of his signature outside shots. Golden State would get to within three, but were unable to complete the comeback.
A huge Game 4 is coming up tomorrow in Cleveland.

Good news for the Knicks this week--and they’re a team that could certainly use some good news.
Star forward Carmelo Anthony has officially begun working out on the court, following his left knee surgery back in February. He’s right on track with his recovery at this point, and should be just fine for training camp.
Who Anthony will be greeting as the Knicks’ new draft pick, however, remains in question and will be an interesting side story over the next several days.
Big forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be a free agent this off-season, assuming he doesn’t re-sign with the Trail Blazers.
He reportedly prefers the Mavericks to the Spurs right now, which is good news for Dallas, as both teams have the cap space to accommodate him.
Speculation is rampant that Aldridge will be bolting Portland for greener pastures, as he’s recently expressed dismay over the team’s early playoff exit, which could factor into his decision.
