NBA Player Updates 7/15: Free Agent Signings, Off-Season Schedule and More
July 15, 2015
The off-season NBA action has remained pretty constant this week, and there’s still plenty to talk about this morning. Let’s check out the headlines and see who’s in the news right now.
The Bulls inked up free agent Aaron Brooks yesterday, re-signing him after he logged 11.6 PPG for the team last year.

The Kings were also active in free agency yesterday, signing both Omri Casspi and Luc Mbah a Moute.
Both players had agreed to terms last week; there’s been no official confirmation of length or salary yet, but sources say Casspi was signed at two years and $6 million.
As for Mbah a Moute, he logged 9.9 PPG for the Sixers last year.
The Mavericks are trying to corral free agent Ryan Hollins. He’s coming off 3.0 PPG and 2.2 RPG in Sacramento last year.
In other Mavericks news, the team officially inked former Net Deron Williams yesterday. He was released by Brooklyn a few days back.
The Rockets re-signed Corey Brewer yesterday. He’s back in town on a multi-year deal.
Brewer logged 11.9 PPG with 3.6 RPG and 1.7 APG in Houston last season.
Back to the Bulls for a moment: the team also re-upped with Mike Dunleavy yesterday. The terms of his new contract weren’t immediately disclosed.
Dunleavy has managed 10.5 PPG with 4.1 RPG in his past two years in Chicago.
The Sixers look like they’re now players for RFA guard Norris Cole. He’s currently with the Pelicans, who offered him a $3 million deal.
New Orleans has the right to match any offer he gets, so we’ll see how badly they want to keep him. Cole managed 9.9 PPG with 3.2 APG last season with Miami and New Orleans.
