It’s been a pretty busy NBA off-season so far, and we’ve got more coming. Let’s take a quick look at some of the notable headlines and see what’s going on today.

The Heat’s Josh McRoberts is getting back to normal. He says he’s “pretty close” to 100 percent healthy these days, and has spent the summer rehabbing.
McRoberts is coming off a knee injury that plagued him last season. He was only able to get on the court for 17 appearances due to that situation.

Now let’s visit with C JaVale McGee, who made some news late this week. He was signed by the Mavericks for two years at the league minimum, and his deal carries a team option for that second season.
McGee managed to get out on the court just 23 games last year in Denver and Philadelphia, and was waived back in March. He’s been in only 28 games over his past two seasons.
McGee is currently coming back from a leg injury, but the team believes he’ll be able to get back to 100 percent by the time training camp gets here.
Over his seven-year career, he’s averaging 8.4 PPG and 5.5 RPG.

In other signing news late this week, the Timberwolves and forward Tayshaun Prince agreed to terms. He’ll get the veteran minimum for one year.
Prince is a 13-year vet of the NBA. In his 2014-15 season, he averaged 7.5 PPG and 3.6 RPG.

The Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony is going to have a huge hand in what the team is able to accomplish this year. Key to that role will be the health of his ailing knee.
Anthony is coming off surgery that shortened his 2014-15 season and solidified the team’s tank-job en route to a No. 4 overall pick in the draft.
Due to the injury, Anthony played just 40 games. In that span he averaged 24.2 PPG and 6.6 RPG.
The good news there is that Anthony will be playing 5-on-5 basketball later this month, which is a big step in his recovery.

NBA Daily Schedule: The league will get going again on October 27, which isn’t too far off. Let’s check out the matchups, times and channels where you can find all the action.
