The Miami Heat look for a statement win by getting off to a 2-0 start. The Miami Heat are averaging 104 points on 49.3 percent shooting and allowing 94 points on 39.3 percent shooting. Chris Bosh is averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds while Dwyane Wade is averaging 20 points and five assists. Goran Dragic is dishing six assists and Justise Winslow is grabbing seven rebounds. The Miami Heat handled the Charlotte Bobcats in their season opener but now hope they can take that same effort on the road. The Cleveland Cavaliers look for a win to get a game above a .500 record. The Cleveland Cavaliers are averaging 100.5 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 86.5 points on 39.1 percent shooting. LeBron James is averaging 18.5 points and five assists while Kevin Love is averaging 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds. Mo Williams is dishing six assists and Tristan Thompson is grabbing 10 rebounds. The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming off a blowout victory over the Grizzlies after stinking the bed against the Bulls Tuesday. It’s interesting to see which Cavs team is going to show up for this one, as we’ve seen two completely different teams in the first couple of days.
The Heat are 28-57-4 ATS in their last 89 games following a ATS win and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Cavaliers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Eastern Conference and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 Friday games. The underdog is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
I don't know which Cavs team is going to show up, and the injjuries make this squad a little shaky, as even LeBron is dealing with back issues. However, we're getting a healthy Heat team that's deep and very motivated to get off to a fast start. Give me the points.
