The Houston Rockets travel to the AmericanAirlines Arena to battle the Miami Heat tonight.
It has been a rough start for the Rockets who are still looking for their first win after two games. James Harden really hasn't look anything like the MVP candidate he was last season and he isn't getting much help from his supporting cast. In the team's 112-92 loss to the Warriors on Friday, Harden shot just 4 of 18 for his 16 points, Ty Lawson added just 11 points while Dwight Howard added nine points as the Rockets shot a miserable 36.6 percent from the field as a team to fall to 0-2 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Heat are coming off their first loss of the season, falling to the Cavaliers by 102-92 on Friday night. Every starter finished in double figures with Dwyane Wade leading all scorers with 25 points and Chris Bosh chipping in with 16 points, but the Heat got almost no support from their bench who combined for just 19 points. Defensively, the Heat did a fine job of keeping the Cavaliers in check except for LeBron James who thrived against his former club, pouring in 29 points on 13 of 19 shooting.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 against the Eastern Conference and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Heat are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a loss.
Head to head, the Rockets are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall and the home team is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.
Normally, I'd take the Rockets to halt the skid and come out on top with a big win, but they've looked well below their best to start the season, so I'm going with the home team to take this one by single digits.
