The Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight.
The Sixers have started the season right where they left off last season, losing games and losing big. After falling to the Celtics by 112-95 in the season opener, the Sixers flew back home to face the Jazz and got routed by 99-71 in a laugher on Friday. Jerami Grant and Nik Stauskas led the team in scoring with 12 points each while Jahlil Okafor added 10 points as the Sixers shot just 30.2 percent from the field.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers will be going for a third straight win after taking down the Heat in a 102-92 win on Friday. LeBron James led all scorers with 29 points on 13 of 19 shooting while Kevin Love stuffed the stat sheet with 24 points, 14 rebounds and five assists as the Cavs battled with the Heat for three quarters before pulling away late to improve to 2-1 on the season. Kyrie Irving remains without a timetable for his return, but Love seems to be flourishing with the extra workload as the Cavs are making more of an effort to make the focal point of the offense.
In ATS trends, the Cavs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven against the Eastern Conference and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a win, while the Sixers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games following a double digit loss at home and 0-4 ATS int heir last four games overall.
Head to head, the Cavs are 3-11 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall and 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Philadelphia.
I know that most of the stats are leaning towards the Sixers covering the spread against the Cavs at home, but there's just no way I can put any money on them and feel good about it yet. The Sixers have started the season with a couple of big losses and I'm expecting more of the same tonight.
