TV: YES

The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks square off Wednesday night at the Philips Arena.

The Brooklyn Nets are still looking for their first win after a rough 0-4 start to the year. The Brooklyn Nets are averaging 90.5 points on 43.9 percent shooting and allowing 105.2 points on 48.6 percent shooting. Brook Lopez is averaging 18.3 points and 7.3 rebounds while Jarrett Jack is averaging 14 points and 6.7 assists. Joe Johnson is dishing 3.3 assists and Thaddeus Young is grabbing 6.8 rebounds. The Brooklyn Nets are shooting just 24.6 percent from three and allowing teams to shoot 42.7 percent from long range. When you add in just 38.8 rebounds per game and the lack of overall scoring, it simply hasn’t been a great start for the Nets.

Nets at Hawks - 11/4/15 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Hawks look to remain red hot by winning their fifth straight game. The Atlanta Hawks are averaging 99 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 97 points on 40.3 percent shooting. Jeff Teague is averaging 19.8 points and 5.8 assists while Al Horford is averaging 17.4 points and 8.8 rebounds. Paul Millsap is grabbing nine rebounds and Dennis Schroder is dishing 2.8 assists. The Atlanta Hawks are coming off a Tuesday win over the Heat in which they forced 18 turnovers and scored 51 first half points. The Hawks have allowed no more than 94 points in their last three games and have won 17 of their last 20 regular season games when allowing less than 100 points. Thabo Sefolosha is questionable with an ankle injury.

The Nets are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. NBA Southeast and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest. The Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Nets are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Atlanta.

The Nets are flat out awful. Like one of the worst teams in the league bad. So while eating nearly double-digit chalk with a team that played yesterday isn't a great idea, Atlanta has to be the only pick here.
