Heat-Timberwolves: The Heat didn’t have a whole lot of trouble with the T-Wolves last night in Minneapolis, eventually sticking a 96-84 win. Dwyane Wade led the team here with his 25 points while Chris Bosh backed him up on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Shabazz Muhammad logged 14 points and six boards for the Timberwolves, who shot just 35 percent from the field in a rough night.
Hornets-Mavericks: The Hornets had a strong game in the post last night against the Mavericks, and it turned into a 108-94 victory. It was their first win in Dallas since 1998.
Al Jefferson was the catalyst here, posting a season-high 31 points on a very efficient 15-of-18 shooting line. Marvin Williams helped out with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Deron Williams was the high man for the Mavs with 15 points. Dirk Nowitzki and two other players added 14.
Trail Blazers-Grizzlies: Damian Lillard had a great game last night, pouring in seven 3-pointers against the Grizzlies on his way to 27 points. His efforts would result in a 115-96 win for the Blazers in Portland.
Lillard scored 14 in a period of just seven minutes in the third quarter. That was during a 28-9 Portland run which all but sealed the game.
Courtney Lee put up 18 points here, while Zach Randolph had 16 points and 10 rebounds.
