The Washington Wizards invade the Philips Arena to battle the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
The Wizards have won three of their first five games to start the season, but they hit a bit of a speed bump last night when they got trounced by the Celtics 118-98. Bradley Beal had a nice game of 24 points on nine of 15 shooting but John Wall had just 13 points on six of 17 shooting with eight turnovers which really hurt the team early on as the Wizards fell behind by 40-25 after the first quarter and 72-49 at the end of the half. It was just one of those nights where you start the game slugglishly and get blown out on the road, which was disappointing as the Wizards were coming off a thrilling comeback win over the Spurs just the night before.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have their eyes on a seventh straight win after taking down the Pelicans in a 121-115 shootout last night. As always, the Hawks won with their balanced scoring as six players finished in double figures. Kyle Korver and Paul Millsap led the scoring with 22 points each while Jeff Teague added 19 points and seven assists while the Hawks shot an impressive 53.2 percent from the field for the game which they needed to as the Pelicans' Anthony Davis poured in a season-high 43 points.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record, while the Hawks are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games following a win but just 1-5 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Wizards are 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall but the underdog is 11-5-3 ATS in the last 19 meetings.
This is a great opportunity for the Wizards to test their strength against one of the best teams last season, but the Hawks looked great last night and should be too good at home once again.
