The Memphis Grizzlies travel to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz tonight.
The Grizzlies have lost two of their last three games and are coming off a disappointing 115-96 blowout loss to the Trailblazers. Courtney Lee led the scoring with 18 points, Zach Randolph had 16 points while Marc Gasol chipped in with 15 points but it wasn't enough as the Trailblazers got hot from the three-point line where they made 15 of 30 attempts. The Grizzlies just couldn't slow down the Blazers backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum who combined for 47 points and 11 threes and it cost them the game. With the loss, Memphis drops to 3-3 on the season and 2-2 on the road.

Meanwhile, the young Jazz have won three of their last four games and are coming off a 96-84 win at Denver. Gordon Hayward shook off his slow start the season with a game-high 20 points while the bench combined for 52 points as the Jazz battled the Nuggets for three tight quarters before pulling away in a 31-20 fourth quarter. With the win, Utah improved to 3-2 on the season and 3-1 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall, while the Jazz are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six home games and 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games overall.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Utah.
The Jazz have been surprisingly good considering how poor Hayward was playing until his last outing, but I'm expecting the Grizzlies to bounce back from their recent scoring woes and escape with a narrow win tonight.
