The Utah Jazz travel to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat tonight.
The Jazz were going for a third straight win on Tuesday but they ran into the Cavaliers and lost by 118-114 in a nail-biter. Alec Burks led the team with 24 points off the bench while Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward chipped in with 17 points each, but they still couldn't pull out the win despite leading by 95-86 midway through the fourth quarter as there was just no stopping the Cavs once LeBron James heated up. Rodney Hood even tried to bear hug James on a fastbreak layup but he still managed to make the layup with the foul. Still, it was somewhat of a moral victory as the young Jazz really took it to the Cavs who were winners of six straight.

Meanwhile, the Heat have won three of their last four overall and will be going for a third straight win after making light work of the Lakers in a 101-88 win on Tuesday. Chris Bosh poured in 30 points on nine of 16 shooting, Hassan Whiteside added 19 points and 15 rebounds while Dwyane Wade scored 12 points as the Heat took advantage of a struggling Lakers outfit playing without Kobe Bryant who was rested for the game. With the win, Miami improved to 5-3 on the season and 4-1 at home.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Heat are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 6-2 ATS in their last eight against the Western Conference.
Head to head, the Jazz are 6-14 ATS in the last 20 meetings overall and 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings in Miami.
The ATS stats are really in favour of the Heat to win and cover the spread in this one, but I think the Jazz looked great in their loss to the Cavs, so I think we could be in for a minor upset in this one.
