The Detroit Pistons roll into town to battle the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclay Center tonight.
The Pistons have lost three of their last four and are coming off a blowout loss, falling to Thunder by 103-87 on Friday. Marcus Morris led the team with 17 points while Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson added 15 points each but the Pistons went ice cold in the second half and finished with 34.4 percent shooting from the field. Jackson had a particularly hard time with his former teammate Russell Westbrook guarding him as he shot just four of 16 from the field. With the loss, Detroit fall to 8-8 on the season and 4-6 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Nets have are coming off a couple of tough losses, falling to the Thunder on Wednesday, then losing to the Cavaliers by 90-88 thanks to a floater from LeBron James in the last second of the game. Brook Lopez led the way with 22 points and nine rebounds on 10 of 15 shooting, Joe Johnson added 17 points and Thaddeus Young had 16 points as the Nets took the Cavaliers right to the edge but fell short. With the loss, Brooklyn falls to 3-13 on the season and 1-10 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Nets are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 against the Eastern Conference.
Head to head, the Pistons are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall and 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Brooklyn.
The Nets suffered a tough loss last night but will have to regroup in a hurry as the Pistons will be eager to make up for their performance in their last outing. This game should be another close one, but I have the Pistons pulling away late and covering the spread.
