The Houston Rockets play host to the Sacramento Kings tonight at the Toyota Center.
The Kings have lost three of their last four games and are coming off an ugly 114-97 loss to the Celtics. Rudy Gay had a decent game of 18 points but had next to no support as DeMarcus Cousins chipped in with 16 points but shot just four of 17 from the field while Rajon Rondo added just five points and eight assists. The problem was a lack of focus as the Kings allowed the Celtics to run rampant right from the tipoff which meant they were down 32-17 going into the second quarter, leaving them too much distance to make up. What made matters worse was that Rondo was sent off in the third quarter after a double technical foul for basically staring at the referee.

Meanwhile, the Rockets have won four of their last five overall and looked pretty good in last night's 100-96 win over the Mavericks. James Harden led the offense with 25 points and nine assists, Trevor Ariza added 18 points while Terrence Jones had 17 as the Rockets came out victorious in what was a tight contest from start to finish. The Rockets have been inconsistent all season, but they've looked good over the week and they're inching closer to .500 with a record of 9-11 on the season and 4-4 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Kings are 2-6 ATS in their last eight against the Western Conference and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games against a team with a losing record, while the Rockets are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 1-8 ATS in their last nine home games.
Head to head, the Kings are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings in Houston.
The Kings are more than capable of causing the minor upset in this game, but the Rockets have been in a bit of a groove lately and I really liked how they closed out last night's narrow win over the Mavs.
