The Toronto Raptors play host to the struggling Los Angeles Lakers tonight at the Air Canada Center.
The Lakers dropped to 3-17 on the season last night thanks to the Pistons who poured in 65 points in the first half to win by 111-91. Louis Williams had a nice game of 21 points off the bench while Julius Randle added 15 points and 11 rebounds in just 24 minutes, but this game was over before it really began as the Pistons blew out the Lakers early. Kobe Bryant missed much of the pregame warmups while battling a stomach bug and it showed during the game as he finished with just five points on two of 15 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Raptors are also in need of a win after losing three of their last four, including a heartbreaking 112-109 loss to the Warriors on Saturday. Kyle Lowry exploded for 41 points on 14 of 26 shooting, DeMar DeRozan added 16 points but shot just five of 19 from the field while Lucas Nogueira had 14 points, but some poor miscues late in the game cost the Raptors a chance at upsetting the undefeated Warriors. Despite the loss, Toronto is still 12-9 on the season overall and 4-4 at home.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games playing on zero days rest and 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games, while the Raptors are 6-0 ATS in their last six games following a loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
Head to head, the Lakers are 3-9 ATS in the last 12 meetings and the over is 7-1 in the last eight meetings in Toronto.
The line definitely feels like a couple points too big, but the Raptors really shouldn't have much trouble getting past the Lakers who've been struggling all season and looked particularly bad in last night's loss to the Pistons.
