The Miami Heat invade the Philips Arena to battle the Atlanta Hawks tonight.
The Heat were able to halt a three-game skid last night with a hard-fought 100-97 win over the Grizzlies at home. Chris Bosh led the team with 22 points, Gerald Green added 16 points and Luol Deng had 15, but with the game on the line, the Heat turned to Dwyane Wade who delivered with a clutch jumper to cap off a game-winning 11-0 run from the Heat. With the win, Miami improves to 13-9 overall and 11-4 at home where they've won three of their last four.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have lost three of their last five and are coming off an ugly 103-78 blowout loss to the Spurs. Paul Millsap had a nice game of 22 points on nine of 13 shooting but no other player finished in double digits as the Hawks put together their worst offensive performance of the season. As a team, Atlanta shot just 37.5 percent from the field and scored just 25 points in the first half which had them in deep water for the rest of the game. With the loss, Atlanta falls to 14-11 on the season and 8-5 at home.
In ATS trends, the Heat are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, while the Hawks are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing on one days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Eastern Conference.
Head to head, the Heat are 0-7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Atlanta.
I was actually leaning towards the Heat to cover the spread or maybe win it when I first saw the line, but it's hard to ignore how one-sided the ATS trends are in favor of the Hawks so that's what I'm going with.
