Rockets at Kings - 12/15/15 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Sacramento Kings could use a nice victory after losing six of their last 10 games. The Sacramento Kings are averaging 104.9 points on 45.3 percent shooting and allowing 108.2 points on 46.1 percent shooting. DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 25.2 points and 10.6 rebounds while Rudy Gay is averaging 18.2 points and two assists. Darren Collison is dishing 3.9 assists and Omri Casspi is grabbing 6.1 rebounds. The Sacramento Kings are shooting 36.3 percent from beyond the arc and 72.6 percent from the free throw line. The Kings are allowing 35 percent shooting from deep and are forcing 15.9 turnovers per game. The Sacramento Kings have won six of their last eight home games. Rajon Rondo is out due to suspension.

The Rockets are 35-16 ATS in their last 51 Tuesday games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Pacific. The Kings are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. NBA Southwest and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Tuesday games. The Rockets are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Sacramento and 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings overall.

While the Rockets are as unpredictable as they come and the Kings play well at home, I can't back Sacramento with Rondo being out. I'm going to take another chance on the Rockets here, even if it's risky given the way they've played this season.
