The New Orleans Pelicans travel to Salt Lake City to battle the Utah Jazz tonight.
The Pelicans have lost seven of their last nine and are in danger of losing a third straight after falling to the Trailblazers by 105-101 on Monday. Anthony Davis led the scoring with 28 points on 11 of 19 shooting, Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday added 19 points each while Ryan Anderson had 16 points off the bench, but it still wasn't enough to get past the Blazers who were led by Damian Lillard's 30 points. New Orleans has now lost five straight on the road to fall to 1-12 on the road and 6-18 on the season overall.

The Jazz have lost six of their last eight and their last three straight following an ugly 118-81 loss at San Antonio on Monday. Derrick Favors scored a team-high 16 points, Raul Neto added 12 points while Trey Burke had 10 but none of those numbers matter as the Jazz were simply outplayed from start to finish in this one. With Rudy Gobert still out with a sprained left knee, Utah just couldn't do anything to slow down the red-hot Spurs who shot 56 percent fromt he field.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games, while the Jazz are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games against a team below .400 and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss of more than 10 points.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 1-6-2 ATS in the last nine meetings overall and 1-3-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Utah.
Both squads are coming into this game needing a win and while I think the Pelicans have the more talented roster, I like the Jazz to bounce back from their worst loss of the season and take care of business at home.
