The New Orleans Pelicans travel to the Talking Stick Resort Arena to battle the Phoenix Suns tonight.
The Pelicans have lost seven of their last 10 games but are coming off an impressive 104-94 win at Utah. Ryan Anderson led the team with 24 points off the bench, Eric Gordon added 19 points while Anthony Davis had 17 as the Pelicans rallied from behind to take down the Jazz thanks to a dominant 31-15 fourth quarter effort. The Pelicans have been one of the most disappointing teams to start the season, but now that they have all of their key players healthy and playing well, they could be set for a push up the rankings.

Meanwhile, the Suns have lost three of their last four and looking completely helpless against the league-leading Warriors in a 128-103 loss on Wednesday. Mirza Teletovic led the scoring with 24 points, TJ Warren added 19 points while Brandon Knight had 17, but none of those numbers matter as the Suns were already down by as many as 41 points after the Warriors poured on 46 points in nightmare of a third quarter for the Suns. With the loss, Phoenix falls to 11-16 on the season and 4-10 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games against a team with a winning record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall, while the Suns are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team below .400 and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the home team is 7-1 ATS in the last eight.
The Suns will be eager to make up for their lack of effort in the team's last outing, but I just get the feeling that the Pelicans are starting their rise up the rankings and they should be good enough to get the win tonight.
