The Dallas Mavericks invade the Air Canada Center to take on the Toronto Raptors tonight.
The Raptors have lost three of their last four games and were pretty poor in Sunday's 104-94 home loss to the Kings. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 28 points, Patrick Patterson added 18 points off the bench while James Johson had 14, but the Raptors started poorly and found themselves down by 37-18 after the first quarter. Kyle Lowry has been in a bit of shooting slump lately and his frustrations boiled over as he was ejected in the third quarter after receiving two techncial fouls in quick succession, finishing the game with 13 points on four of 13 shooting in 25 minutes. Toronto is clearly in a bit of a slump as a team, but they're still a healthy 17-12 on the season overall and 8-5 at home.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have lost three of their last five overall but looked good in Friday's 97-88 win over the Grizzlies at home. Dirk Nowitzki led the team with 20 points while Deron Williams added 14, but the biggest boost for the Mavs was Chandler Parsons who scored 16 points and seven assists in a season-high 32 minutes off the bench. Parsons was slowly worked into the rotation to start the season, but the reports are that he is expected to play around 30 minutes per game moving forward which is great news for the Mavs as his versatility will be crucial to the team's success.
In ATS trends, the Mavs are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win and 3-11 ATS in their last 14 against the Eastern Conference, while the Raptors are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games following a loss and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Mavs are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings and the under is 7-1-1 in the last nine meetings in Toronto.
The Raptors haven't been in the best of form lately, but it's bound to end soon as they'd won four straight at home before Sunday, so I'm taking them to bounce back and take down the Mavs tonight.
