The Atlanta Hawks invade the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets tonight.
The Hawks will be looking to bounce back after last night's 93-87 loss at Indiana which snapped their six-game win streak. Paul Millsap led the team with 24 points, Jeff Teague added 18 points while Thabo Sefolosha had 14 off the bench, but after starting the game well, the Hawks really let themselves down in a 31-13 second quarter dominated by the Pacers. Defensively, the Hawks did a fine job of limiting Paul George to just nine points, but they could do little to slow down the in-form Monta Ellis who torched them for 26 points on 10 of 20 shooting. With the loss, Indiana drops to 18-12 on the season and 11-4 at home.

Meanwhile, the Rockets have won four of their last six games but are coming off a tough 110-108 loss at New Orleans. James Harden led the way with 25 points, Trevor Ariza and Patrick Beverley added 16 points and the Rockets connected on 15 of 33 three-pointers but it still wasn't enough to hold off the Pelicans who held the Rockets to just 17 points in the fourth quarter after they poured in 41 points in the first. Dwight Howard continued his inconsistent season with a quiet performance of just seven points and nine rebounds while taking just four shot attempts.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four games playing on zero days rest, while the Rockets are 6-0 ATS in their last six home games and 15-6 ATS in their last 21 home games against a team with a winning road record.
Head to head, the Hawks are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 meetings in Houston and 4-11 ATS in the last 15 meetings overall.
It's always tough playing the Rockets on zero days rest but the Hawks will be eager to atone for last night's disappointing loss and I think they can achieve that with a narrow win tonight.
