The Charlotte Hornets fly to the Air Canada Center to take on the Toronto Raptors tonight.
The Hornets missed out on a chance for a third straight win on Wednesday, falling to the Clippers who were without a key player in Blake Griffin. Kemba Walker led the team with 29 points, Frank Kaminsky added 20 points while Jeremy Lamb had 19, but in an up-tempo contest, it was the Clippers' backcourt depth which was the difference in the end. With the loss, Charlotte drops to 17-14 on the season and 13-6 at home.

Meanwhile, the Raptors have won three of their last four games and are coming off a 94-91 win over the Wizards. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 34 points, Terrence Ross added 4 points while Kyle Lowry had 11 points and six assists as the Raptors beat the Wizards despite shooting just 34 percent fromt he field. DeRozan proved too hard to guard and found his way to the charity stripe with regularity where he made all 15 attempts to lead the Raptors who shot 32 of 39 as a team. It wasn't the prettiest of wins, but Toronto is now 20-13 on the season and 10-5 at home.
In ATS trends, the Hornets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team above .600 and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Hornets are 11-2 ATS in the last 13 meetings in Toronto and 21-6 ATS in the last 27 meetings overall.
The Raptors continue to find ways to win despite playing well below their best and I can see that continuing tonight. However, there seems to be enough value for the Hornets with the points in this one as I'm expecting a close contest.
