The Oklahoma CIty Thunder pay a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center tonight.
The Thunder had their four-game win streak snapped by the Kings on Monday, but responded with an impressive 112-94 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday. Kevin Durant returned from a one-game absence to lead the team with 26 points, Russell Westbrook added 20 points while Dion Waiters had 15 as the Thunder dominated the Kings by 56-36 in the first half before cruising in the second half. Oklahoma City has now won eight of their last 10 games to improve to 25-11 on the season and 17-5 at home.

Meanwhile, the Lakers had found a bit of form with three straight wins out of the blue, but they fell back to earth with consecutive losses to the Warriors and then the Kings. Kobe Bryant led the scoring with 28 points, D'Angelo Russell added 27 points while Louis Williams had 20 as the Lakers rallied back from a 27-point deficit only to fall just short. With the loss, Los Angeles drops to 8-29 on the season and 4-19 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Thunder are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win, while the Lakers are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and 7-17 ATS in their last 24 games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Thunder are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and the home team is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
The Lakers have definitely been playing much better basketball lately, but they were completely outmatched in the 120-85 loss to the Thunder back on Dec. 23 and I'm expecting more of the same tonight.
