Trail Blazers vs. Warriors - 1/8/16 NBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Portland Trail Blazers look for consistency after splitting their last eight games. The Portland Trail Blazers are averaging 100.8 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 102.2 points on 44.5 percent shooting. Damian Lillard is averaging 24.2 points and 6.8 assists while C.J. McCollum is averaging 21 points and 3.7 rebounds. Mason Plumlee is dishing 2.7 assists and Al-Farouq Aminu is grabbing 6.8 rebounds. The Portland Trail Blazers are shooting 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 72.6 percent from the free throw line. The Trail Blazers are allowing 34.9 percent shooting from deep and are forcing 11.7 turnovers per game. The Portland Trail Blazers have split their last 10 home games.

The Warriors are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 vs. Western Conference and 14-5-1 ATS in their last 20 road games. The Trail Blazers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Friday games. The Warriors are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Portland and 19-7 ATS in the last 26 meetings overall.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Warriors right now with their injuries piling up. Still, Golden State finds ways to win and what not. However,  the Trail Blazers are a team I've been keeping a close eye on this season, as there's talent there in Portland and possible playoff sleeper. I like the points here but the best bet probably would be to sit this game out.
