The Toronto Raptors invade the Verizon Center to take on the Washington Wizards tonight.
The Raptors were able to put a halt to a two-game skid on Wednesday with an easy 91-74 win at Brooklyn. Jonas Valanciunas led the team with 22 points, Kyle Lowry added 17 while DeMar DeRozan had 15 as the Raptors took full advantage of the struggling Nets who were also playing without their starting point guard in Jarett Jack. With the win, Toronto has now won three of their last five to improve to 22-15 on the season and 11-9 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Wizards have lost four of their last five and will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling to the Cavaliers by 121-115 on Wednesday. Garrett Temple had a nice game of 21 points while John Wall had 20 points and 12 assists, but despite shooting a healthy 55 percent fromt he field, the Wizards were always a step behind the Cavaliers who were led by a combined 66 points from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. With the loss, Washington drops to 15-18 on the season and 8-10 at home.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on one days rest and 0-8 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS win, while the Wizards are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Raptors are 0-7 ATS in the last seven meetings overall but the Wizards have been in such a struggle lately that I have to stick with the Raptors who are coming off a dominant win on the road.
