We’ve got 18 NBA games to look forward to over the next couple of days, starting with eight matchups tonight. That said, let’s take our daily look at the headlines and see who’s in the news.

Spurs-Nets: The Spurs are rolling right now; they’ve won eight straight games thanks to a 106-79 win last night against Brooklyn. LaMarcus Aldridge put up 25 points and 11 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard posted 17 points.
It was the Nets’ 10th straight loss at home and fifth straight overall.
As for the Spurs, they’re 33-6 overall. They will go to Detroit tonight before a huge game on Thursday against the incoming Cavaliers. That will test their 31-game home winning streak, and should be a great game.
