The Atlanta Hawks pay a visit to the Charlotte Hornets at the Time Warner Cable Arena tonight.
The Hawks will be going for a third straight win tonight after Saturday's dominant 120-105 win over the Bulls. Al Horford led the team with a game-high 33 points, 10 rebounds and six assists while Paul Millsap had 18 points, eight rebounds and six blocks as the Hawks jumped out to an early double digit lead before holding off the Bulls late to win just their third game in six outings and improve to 23-15 overall and 13-7 at home.

Meanwhile, the Hornets are just looking to snap an ugly seven-game losing streak after losing to the Nuggets by 95-92 on Sunday. Cody Zeller and Jeremy Lamb led the scoring with 15 points each while Frank Kaminsky had 14 points but the Hornets' offense deserted them in the second half as they couldn't get the win despite holding the Nuggets to just 14 points in the fourth quarter. With the loss, Charlotte drops to 17-20 on the season and 4-13 on the road. Nicolas Batum returned from a four-game absence but was relatively quiet, scoring just nine points and seven assists in 38 minutes of action.
In ATS trends, the Hawks are 1-5 ATS in their last six games playing on three or more days rest and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 against the Eastern Conference, while the Hornets are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a loss.
Head to head, the Hawks are 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in Charlotte and 12-5-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings overall.
The Hawks are starting to show signs of the form we saw from them last season and they seem to be catching the struggling Hornets at the right time, so I'm taking Atlanta to pull away late and win this one.
