The Minnesota Timberwolves travel to the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets tonight.
The Timberwolves' disappointing season continued last night with a 101-96 home loss to the Thunder. Andrew Wiggins led the team with 22 points, Zach LaVine had 21 points and nine assists while Shabazz Muhammad had 20 points as the Wolves were poor against the Thunder until they made their run in the fourth quarter which ulimately fell just short. Minnesota has now lost seven straight and 11 of their last 12 to fall to 12-27 on the season and 5-17 at home.

Meanwhile, the Rockets will be looking to build on their four-game win streak after making light work of the Grizzlies in a 107-91 win last night. James Harden led the scoring with 25 points, Terrence Jones added 20 points while Dwight Howard had 17 points and 14 rebounds as the Rockets turn on the jets late to pull away and win by double digits for the first time since Dec. 19. With the win, Houston improves to 20-19 on the season and 8-10 on the road where they've won their last two games.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 13-30 ATS in their last 43 games playing on zero days rest and 5-16-1 ATS in their last 22 games overall, while the Rockets are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games playing on zero days rest.
The Wolves showed plenty of fight in last night's loss to the Thunder and if they come out with the same intensity, this game could be a close one. However, the Rockets looked really good in their win last night and they should be good enough to win this one by double digits and cover the spread.
